Social Media has become an increasingly popular tool in our society.  Various forms have helped distribute knowledge in the most efficient way seen so far in history.  However, this increase in quantity of accessible knowledge has come at a cost.  Quality.  False information has become accepted as inevitable and unavoidable.  This can be agreed upon without being pessimistic, although that does not mean there are no positive attributes to social media.  People are able to connect around the world in a completely seamless way.  This impressive innovation came from the most rare and artistic minds, and in effect accentuates the possibility for more ideas to flourish.  Hopefully the detrimental effects these new advances have on us are outweighed by their achievements.  These concepts are constantly subject to the ebb and flow of human morality.  The choices individuals make decide whether social media remains shackled in superficial restraints, or delves deeper into its potential to enhance our collective existence.
